Designers Fien Muller and Hannes Van Severen collaborated to create Zetel, a modern Bauhaus-inspired piece of furniture. The frame is made up of thin red metal bars while sheets of fine leather create comfortable seating. The entire unit consists of a lounge chair adjacently connected to a regular sitting chair. A tall floor lamp divides the two sitting areas and creates a dual-use unit incorporating modern design and modest Bauhaus-minded gestures. Minimal materials and a functional design philosophy make the Zetel an aesthetically pleasing and useful piece of art. [via notcot] View in gallery View in gallery View in gallery
